Paradise Run began as a soup run in central Cardiff in 1995 as part of the Rainbow of Hope organisation. With the help of volunteers from local churches Paradise Run grew to a nightly food provision for those in need in Charles Street near Marks and Spencer. A team from Tabs has been involved since the early days taking part on a Thursday evening once every four weeks.

Since the advent of covid restrictions in March 2020, Paradise Run has had to be suspended but in recent months the same volunteers have been providing food on a Wednesday evening in the Rainbow of Hope Centre in Broadway. It is hoped Tabs will be able to join this new venture on the same basis as before. We plan to visit the Rainbow of Hope Centre to see how the Wednesday arrangement currently works and then decide if the Tabs team can resume involvement shortly (sufficient volunteers permitting).
